The 21st century church is forging ahead in bold new ways!  This is both a good and a bad thing, thus it is necessary to analyze recent developments in ecclesiology using the Bible as our guide.  While many new trends are trumpeted as "innovative" and "new paradigm" in content, we see a growing amount of false doctrine and aberrant teachings in many areas as the pastors and church folk today look to secular marketing principles, "purpose-driven" philosophies, and psychological theorems for clues on how to reach, what is now being labeled, the "postmodern world".  More concerning still are some of the teachings and practices springing from "emerging church" circles.
